I think my father is a tea-bagger
Who knew that my relationship with my father would crumble because Obama became president. I know I’m not going to change his mind and he’s not going to change my mind. Bokashi update - 8 months
I’ve been doing Bokashi composting since January of 2011. I keep two buckets: one that is actively accepting compost foods, and one that is sitting and pickling. I read Crunch Gear’s Top 10 DIY iPad Projects and thought that my carpenter boyfriend could easily re-create (using better wood) the $5 iPad dock. Here are the process photos and there are more on my Flickr page:

DIY iPad Carrying Case
After I read a blog post about Turning the iPad into an iBook, I decided that I needed to get an iPad. I had several reasons, had read lots of positive and negative reviews, and decided that I wanted to fulfill my childhood dream of having Penny’s Book from Inspector Gadget. Sold.
So I bought the iPad, and went on a quest for a decent book to hold it. I went to a used bookstore and...
